Wander Radio News

Broken Sea Audio Productions has released 500 episodes. The team has done it over several shows such as Fan Productions like Doctor Who which seems to be ongoing as well as complete stories like Planet of the Apes Logan’s Run. They also have original work Gaia’s Voyages, The Grog and Gryphon and Maudelayne.

Catwoman the Queen of Thieves has completed its first year.(12 issues at one a month) written by Kristen Bays and produced by Pendant Productions, the 12th issue of Catwoman Queen of Thieves occurs at the half way point of the totally awesome crossover Ex Tempus. Also even more news out of Pendant, the original work "Once Upon a Time in Vegas" written by Alicia Laine Matheson and Rene Jones present a very adult fairy tale/soap opera. The compelling story has completed 2 seasons congrats to all involved.

And finally coming in September, The Sonic Society and Decoder Ring Theater starts their next seasons, 19 Nocturne Blvd has 2 stories coming out Drawer 23 and Dracula dot com, both written by Julie Hoverson so they are going to be good. But the piece of information that I had missed before but was brought to my attention by a fan of Audio Drama over at Audio Drama Talk – Final Rune Productions is working with Mad Horse Theater Company to remake some classic OTR scripts you can find out more with the links in the shownotes.

Thanks for the shout out, Jack. Whew! A lot going on in the audio drama world. The OTR project with Mad Horse is going along well, we’ll be doing two from the canon – Sorry Wrong Number and Three Skeleton Key – as well as one a little less known, “The Most Dangerous Game.” Airdate for the first will be Sept 24ish on Radio Drama Revival.

    More to come!
    Fred

With a show, like yours, where I greatly enjoy each release, it becomes silly and pendantic to simply state “love the show” after finishing. On the other hand, it is the truth.

And this was the most mixed up episode of WanderRadio that I have listened to. This had music and news and a bit of the audio drama too. I haven’t been a listener from the beginning, but from what I’ve heard so far you have more typically separated the music and the fiction. If that was not your intent, then this is certainly the best I’ve heard.
